What Prank Are You Playing! Ha! Ha!

This morning I woke up and my brother was changing and he went to my mom’s room. Then I got up from my bed and went to change. But then I remembered it was April 1 so it is April fools day. I went to my mom’s room and said “Mom we are not going to go to school today.” Then she said, “Why?” My brother was so excited, but then I said April Fools. And they were laughing! Ha! Ha!

Another prank I did was when I told my best friend I wasn’t her friend her best friend. Then she said what did I do? Then I said you are ugly and we don’t want to be seen with you. Then she was sad and I said April Fools! Ha! Ha! Cool!

It was a dark and stormy night I knew something was going to go wrong. Baam! Oh no not again. My brother dropped all my toys and I know I am going to get blamed for it even though he is 7 years old. In came my mom rushing in. What was that noise? Said my mom. I said it was my brother he dropped all my toys. My mom said tattle teller now for doing that your going to get punished. But I just told you what he did, didn’t you ask me. Yes but I think it is ethical that you get blamed for it. I think it is unethical because you asked me what was that noise? Therefore I told you the answer and if I get blamed for it he gets blamed for it too that is ethical. My mom said now for saying he gets punished you get punished even more. That is my life.

What I Did This Week

This week I went in a whale-watching trip that was about science and how they have barnacles. It was about my 5 senses. In math I learned how to do graphing equations. I learned about solid figures- cylinders, pyramids, cones, prisms, and spheres. Likewise, I learned about how to do patterns for solids. In addition, I learned how to graph coordinates playing of battleship. Furthermore, I sang a Fifty Nifty Song. I learned how to make rules for survival in the Artic. I read a new story called Artic Explorers. And I learned new vocabulary words. That is what I learned.

What I Learned This Week 2-13-04

I learned how to do math about triangles and how they have two names. The angles are right, obtuse, and acute.

The sides are isosceles, scalene, and equilateral. I learned about polygons like octagon, pentagon, and hexagon. I learned how to compare fractions. I learned new vocabulary words like culprit, amputation, and gored. I learned about electromagnets how electricity makes it become a magnet. I learned how to do an expository essay on a character from medicine. That is what I learned.

What Did I Learned This Week? 2-6-04

I learned that graphing is very easy once you get it. I learned how to read a new story called “ Susan La Flesche.” I learned new spelling words such as rambunctious it is spelled r-a-m-b-u-n-c-t-I-o-u-s. It is a long word. It means (crazy, wild, and not normal.) I learned about circuits in positive (+) and negative (-). I about scientific medicine and folk medicine. We started a new math essay. I learned about American Pioneers. I went to parent conference an I got pure 4’s and only two 3’s. That is what I learned.

What I Saw In The Whale Watching Trip

I saw a sea lion’s head and of course I saw a lot of water. Then I saw a gray whale’s barnacles. Some of our class took pictures and Javier got the whale and film. I saw fishes and they were silver. The boat was cool, it was named El Dorado. It had a snack bar and they sold lunch, breakfast, and drinks. The chairs were so comfortable. When I got to the part where the sea lions were it smelled like fish. I saw a whale sprout water out of where it breathes. When the motor turned on we were going so fast and a lot of water splashed and we got wet. The weather was fine it was sunny and it did not rain.

What I Learned This Week?

I learned this week how to do math of division of 4 digit quotients. I learned about how after the built the missions they realized that it was too small so they made ranchos. And how the ranchos were too small they had to make pueblos. I learned new vocabulary words like stethoscope it means: a medical instrument for listening to the parts of the body. I learned about series circuits and parallel circuits. I learned a new story called The New Doctor. I learned how Jedediah Smith entered California. I learned about Folk Medicine I even made an essay about it. That Is What I Learned!

Scooter Problems

One day I went to a skate museum and I saw a cool device. A scooter, a bicycle, a skateboard, and a rocket ship stuck together. It had a seat from a bike, a handlebar from a scooter, a skateboard on the bottom, and rocket ships. It said a man named Marty Franklin made it. He I guess was so cool. So I had to try it when no one was looking I got on the scooter. I turned it on and it went 5,000 miles per minute! The scooter and me went to mars the scooter had a button that said astronaut suit. Therefore, I pushed it and I had an astronaut suit. Therefore, I walked on Mars. But my scooter ran out of gas. Therefore, I stayed there but what no one knows is that there is gas underground so I dug a hole and put gas on a bucket and put it into the scooter and went home. However, I got in a lot of trouble in the museum.

The Rambunctious Dog

One day I was walking to my house from school and I saw this cute little dog. It was crazy, it was rambunctious, and it was my perfect dog. So I said “ I will take you home.” He was driving me nuts. So I named “ Crazy” And everyday when I got home from school it was messing up everything in place. When I got there he had messed up 2 rooms already. So I said bad dog and I put him in the yard. By the time my parents got home they were rambunctious. They saw everything neat. I had left it cleaner than they had it. I told them all that happened. So when I went to pick up Crazy from the yard she was gone and I said “Oh Well.”

The Super New Shoes

One day I was going to the mall and I bumped into a boy covered in a black suit and he gave me some shoes they were white, blue, and had buttons of hearts. So I put on the shoes and I felt weird my voice started to sing a new song that I did not even know what the song was and suddenly everybody started to destroy things and to behave bad. Everybody even dogs behaved bad. Everybody except the boy who gave me the shoes. Suddenly I pressed a heart button, everything became normal except my feet were not on the ground I was flying, I began to grow muscles, and I had a super suit. Then I pressed another button everything became normal bit I was a monster. Then very fast I took out the shoes, I took of the mask, and it was a boy from school named Michael. Therefore, he said goodbye and everything was back to normal.

The Brake Down

One day I was going to school and I saw my friend Jennifer crying. She said she forgot her box of pencils where she had a pretty little pen with four pens at the same time of course she had given so I had to let her borrow my pen but I wasn’t sure if I did maybe she would steel it and brake it and make it run out of ink. But if I don’t she’ll start crying in the classroom and blame it all on me. So I didn’t let her borrow it. She started crying just like I imagined it and she blamed it all on me! So I said, “ It wasn’t my fault she forgot it and I didn’t let her borrow it,” The teacher said “ It’s o.k. Stephanie” The teacher said, “ As for you young lady I see your pen in your backpack!” And Jennifer was benched.

Freaky Day

One day I fell asleep in class and when I woke up I was a doctor! There was a woman there and she was getting heart surgery. I looked in the mirror and I was grown up. It was about time I would dream that. I pinched myself and it hurt. I looked at the patient she had all these things in her stomach and on her chest it looked so gross I definitely needed practice first. The other doctors were waiting for me so I could operate but I didn’t want to cause it was so gross. I wouldn’t be that crazy. Well I began to make this operation I moved some things and suddenly I felt so dizzy. My stomach hurted. I felt like I was going to throw up. I suddenly fainted and I heard someone saying “ Stephanie it is time to go to recess,” And I woke up and it was just a dream.

Determine The Relevance Of Learning How To Write an Essay

It is relevant to learn how to write an essay because when you grow up, you want to be a lawyer, you have to write an essay about your complaints, and you never learned. Or if you want to be a police and you have to writ e an essay about how many bad people there is and how bad they are. However, you never learned how to do an essay. Alternatively, if you want to be a teacher and you never learned how are you going to teach the children to do an essay? Then you will get fired and you will have to work at McDonalds or picking up garbage. That is why it is important to learn how to write an essay.

What Did I Learn This Week? 2/20/04

I learned how to do circles and how they have diameters, radius, and circumferences. I learned that a telegraph is an electromagnet. I studied and learned how pioneers looked for gold in California. I learned more about fractions in adding, subtracting, simplifying, and comparing. I did a big test on writing in Folk and Modern medicine and it only took me 2 days. I studied for a test and I did capitalizing titles, how to use commas, how to use apostrophes, and comparative and superlative.

Pioneer Trends By Stephanie

1826 San Joaquin Valley

I am here reporting at San Joaquin Valley. It is 50 Degrees and it is 6.00am. Right behind me is Mr. Jedediah Smith. Please call me Jedediah. So Jedediah what is it like in your travels, what are the trends? Well there are Gold trends, Clothing trends, and Gun trends. Why, Jedediah, why don’t you tell me about these trends?

I will be telling you about gold. Gold is a trend cause well everybody likes it. Everyone wants it too. Gold is a trend cause everyone wants it and nobody is inside in his or her houses. They are all looking for gold.

Another trend is clothes. Clothes are a really important trend. The pioneers are wearing raggedy clothes like dirty clothes. They wore cowboy suits too. Almost all of the clothes were made out of beaver skin.

Well I am running out of time but I will tell you one more thing, Guns. They had guns in their pockets cause when people have gold they shoot the people and no one will have gold except the people who shoot. Right now I need to shoot a person cause he got some of my gold. That is all, I ran out of time.

Well you heard Jedediah; the trends here are Guns, Clothes, and Gold. Well Jedediah said a lot of things. Jedediah has left. It is up to me to saw what is going to go on. But I ran out of time. Surviving

I am going to tell you about when I got stuck on a desolate island.

One day I was going on a trip to Mexico alone and the airplane broke. I landed on a deserted island. I wanted to know which island was it. There was no name so I named it Girl Island. I was actually in the middle of the ocean in a little island. I heard birds flying all around and the ocean making waves. The ground was soft as if it were my own little palace. I saw a big tree full of different kinds of fruit. I saw a big trunk to make my house. I smelled eggs. Since birds laid their eggs and it was very hot the eggs fried up. I smelled fish on shore burned up too. I smelled fresh water and fruits. That is all what I barely noticed right now of my island, see you.

The Next Day

The next day I saw a big light. I did not know where it was coming from. I followed the light and it was right in front of me. I went in, I thought it was heaven. I landed on a raggedy bridge. I had to go back to Girl Island. I couldn’t see the light no more. Likewise, I walked for 5 minutes and I was tired. I asked 10 people in cars and no one knew. One did not even speak English. I asked one last person. They took me to a place for girls only. I saw the light it was coming from the pool. I went into the pool and I was back to my island. Great now I can eat.

The Third Day

The third day I was thirsty. The blue ocean water looked good. So I got some water. I drank some and it tasted all slimy and gross and salty. I needed to look for some water. I saw a coconut tree. I couldn’t find something to climb the tree with. I spent three days making a dumb ladder. Finally I climbed up to get the coconut. Then I thought “ Don’t I have a pocket knife.” I spent two hours making the hole. Finally I made the hole. I did not like the juice but at least I had water.
